Keep Reading... You'll See The Point

Went to church tonight. Yep. It's springbreak and EVERYONE was there.

There were about four seats left so that was nice. I had to walk all the way accross the room, in front of everybody, to sit in a chair near the teach. I wonder if they noticed.

Daniel and Tommy came in and sat next to me, then Jamie came and sat on the other side of the teacher. Why can't I ever remember his name? Blagh!

Well, after Daniel came in, Jonathan asked him for something. Daniel said sure and tossed a card over to him. Now, Jonathan's all the way across the room. The card went half way across, turned straight down, hit the edge of the table, flipped gracefully through the air, hit the other edge of the table, and shot straight across, inserting itself into the narrow slit between Jonathan and Jennifer's legs. Nice.

What was the card? It was Jonathan's driver license which Daniel had for two days. Who knows?

We read Judges chapter 2. I, as always, kept on reading. I encourage everyone reading this to read Judges chapter 3. It was all I could do not to start laughing hysterically in class.

Class was over and I had to get out of there. Mom got mad at me for not showing up in the auditorium last time. So, I again had to get up and walk across a room full of people. I wonder if they noticed.

After the lesson, we talked with Mae and found out that they had a Christ Ambassador's class tonight, because apparently a few more people had signed up. Um, hello? Thanks for telling us that. Then we talked with Peggy for a while in the foyer. I wonder if anybody noticed.

We drove over to McDonald's for dinner and I guess that was the place to be. Everyone was over there.

Got home. Ate dinner. All that wonderful stuff. I was hovering over the brother as he was playing flash games on the net. I was just showing him my favorite sites.

Well, I had my hands on my bum. Don't know what led to that. I was just tracing my back pockets. Noticed a little tear. Went over to Mom and asked if she could see said little tear.

She exclaimed, "Amanda! Oh my God! Hahahaha!"

Brother asked, "What?"

I turned around so he could see. Laughter followed.

I ran to the bathroom mirror. Wasn't a little tear. It's a five inch rip. Starts above the pocket. Goes straight down. Disappears between the legs. White undies shining through.

You know, I have trained my mother to ask this question every Sunday morning and Wednesday night after class: How did you embarrass yourself this time? There has been some good ones, but usually the answer involves stuttering or tripping or some other minor act of clumsiness.

I actually couldn't think of anything tonight.

Now I know.

Oh, no! I wouldn't want to blind my friends. Hmmm... and black is slimmin' (although, I can't really see bulky armor pants as slimmin'). Black it is.
