Life Imitating Art

Cast of Characters:
Girl - Young white girl, approximately seven years old.
Buster - Old black and tan miniature chuahua, approximately eight years old.
Me - Young white woman, approximately twenty-one years old.


Girl: Bicycles past us.
Buster: Barks viciously at girl.
Girl: Turns around and waits.
Me: Shushes Buster.
Buster: Growls.
Girl: "Is that your dog?"
Me: "Yes"
Buster: Strains against leash to attack girl.
Me: Reals in leash until close enough to kick... if needed.
Girl: "She's cute."
Buster: Growls.
Girl: "Where did you get her?"
Me: "From my dad."
Girl: "How old is she?"
Me: "About six."
Girl: "Wow! Is she a girl or a boy?"
Me: "He's a boy."
Buster: Barks and jumps around annoyingly.
Me: Tries to kick but misses.
Girl: "Can I pet him?"
Me: "He'll bite."
Girl: "That's okay. I'm used to bites."
Me: "Um, no."
Girl: Bicycles off.
Me: Thinks about how he's actually eight years old.

haha, insensible. I love that word. But really, what am I to do with this chaotic hyper dog? He barks and jumps around so, um, chaotically that I can't think straight and end up having strange conversations with little girls.

Yes, I go to church often. I don't know much about the Greek Orthodox Church, but perhaps if you tried a congregation that teaches more from the Bible and less from "tradition" then it may have more meaning for you.
